Mount Washington fireworks tent expects business to pick up ahead of the 4th of July

Fourth of July is just days away and fireworks sales are booming in Kentucky.Four Fingers Fireworks Tent is a family-owned business in Mount Washington that is helping people get in the holiday spirit.The business began selling fireworks in 2017 and said its business is becoming a staple in the area.Severe weather from this week has caused sales to be down from past years, but Four Fingers Fireworks expects their business to increase as it gets closer to Independence Day.Co-owner Casey Clark said they hope sales would be up on Sunday and Monday before the big day Tuesday.There are plenty of chances to see fireworks and enjoy the Fourth of July across the Louisville metro area.The Belle of Louisville is offering cruises to watch fireworks on the Ohio River, Waterfront Park is hosting an Independence Day Celebration and Paristown is holding a donut hole eating contest along with fireworks at Christy’s Garden.You can read a full list of Independence Day events here.
