Noodles & Co. said Monday it has appointed Michael Hynes chief financial officer, effective July 24.
The Broomfield, Colo.-based restaurant chain said Hynes comes from Ruth’s Hospitality Group where he most recently served as vice president of finance and accounting for the Ruth’s Chris steakhouse chain. He had been with Ruth’s Hospitality since 2008, holding several roles in finance and accounting.
Olive Garden owner Darden Restaurants earlier this month bought Ruth’s Hospitality Group in a deal that valued the company at $715 million.
Hynes succeeds Carl Lukach, who left in May after serving as finance chief since November 2020. Chief Executive Dave Boennighausen has been fulfilling CFO duties on an interim basis since Lukach’s departure.
Noodles said Hynes will receive an annual base salary of $350,000 and will be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 75% of his base salary.
